Officers arrested for taking bribe

Patna, June 01 (UNI) The vigilance sleuths today arrested an assistant of Patna Regional Development Authority (PRDA) Shivraj and a Bihar education officer Amod Kumar Jha red-handed.

Sources at the Vigilance said here that Shivraj was arrested in Patna, when he was receiving a bribe of Rs 2500 for registration of a flat, while Amod Kumar Jha was arrested in Purnia taking bribe of Rs 5000 for staying transfer of a teacher.

Both were being interrogated and would be produced in the court.
