NCDEX trades at Rs 2,844 crore

Mumbai, June 1 (UNI) About 577 members (3,039 users) today put through 91,438 trades and volumes were Rs 2,844 crore (one-way) at the National Commodity and Derivative Exchange (NCDEX).

Active trades upto 1700 hrs were in jeera, soya oil, pepper, gurseeds, chana and sugar, a release here today said.

Yesterday, 569 members (3,012 users) participated in trading and put through more than 73,984 trades. The volume for the whole day till 2330 hrs was Rs 2,604 crore (one-way).

Active trades were high in pepper, jeera, chana, gold, gurseeds and soya oil, the release added.
