Mega block on Central Railway on June 3

Mumbai, June 1 (UNI) Central Railway will operate mega block on its suburban sections for carrying out maintenance work on June 3.

According to a press release from the Central Railway, the mega block will be on Dn slow local line between Thane and Kalyan, on Up slow line between Mumbra and Thane stations and on Up fast line between Dombivali and Diva from 1030 hrs to 1600 hrs.

The Dn slow local line services leaving Mulund from 1031 hrs to 1617 hrs will be diverted on Dn Fast line between Mulund and Kalyan stations and will halt at Thane and Dombivali stations. Up local line services leaving Diva from 1019 hrs to 1601 hrs and will be diverted on Up fast line between Diva and Mulund stations and will halt at Thane station only.

Up fast line services leaving Kalyan from 1030 hrs to 1543 hrs will be diverted on up slow line between Kalyan and Diva stations.

Down slow line services for Kalva, Mumbra, Diva and Thakurli stations and Up slow line services for Mumbra and Kalva stations will not be available during the block period. However Dn slow line passengers for Diva and Thakurli are permitted to travel in Up direction via Dombivali and Kalyan respectively during the block period on their valid card/ season tickets.

All Dn Harbour line services leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus to Vashi, Belapur, Panvel from 0950 hrs to 1540 hrs will remain cancelled.

All Up Harbour line services for CST leaving Panvel, Belapur and Vashi from 1007 hrs to 1553 hrs will remain cancelled.

Special locals will run on Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus-Kurla- Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus and Panvel-Vashi-Panvel sections at a frequency of around 20-25 minutes on Harbour line during the block period. Harbour line services to Bandra/ Andheri and back will run as per schedule on June 3.
