Masked men kill mother-son duo, no arrests made

New Delhi, June 1 (UNI) A woman and her one-and-a-half-year old son were today shot dead by four masked men in Khajuri Khas area of North-East Delhi this evening.

The assailants, who came in a car, shot at the mother-son duo at about 1830 hrs while they were lying on a cot outside the Khajuri Khas residence of the woman's parents, according to the police.

Resident of Ambe Enclave in Dadri, Savita, along with her son Abhishek, had arrived about a week back to her parents house.

The men wearing masks shot several rounds at them with country-made pistols and fled.

Both were rushed to the GTB Hospital where they were declared brought dead.

Savita's husband Chhavi Lal works as a fan mechanic.

Police have ruled out loot as the motive behind the killings.
