Maruti May sales up at 11.2 per cent
New Delhi, Jun 1: Country's biggest car maker Maruti Udyog Ltd (MUL) today said it has sold 59,400 units in May, up 11.2 per cent from 53,396 units last year.
In the domestic market MUL sold 55,952 vehicles, also up 9.9 per centfrom 50,904 units in 2006, a statement said.
Company's volume in the domestic C segment rose by 22.7 per cent, in the A3 segment the sales went up by 103.8 per cent, while the A2 segment posted a growth of 7.8 per cent during the month, the statement added.
