Indore girl win badminton title

Indore, June 1 (UNI) Nine-year-old local Shreyansi Pardesi has bagged the under-10 girls' title at the 17th Krishna Khaitan Memorial All-India Junior Badminton Tournament at Chennai by securing a 21-18, 21-12 victory over Andhra Pradesh's Elduruti Harika.

She became the first sportsperson from this city to win a title at that Tournament.

Trained at the local Sartaj Academy, Shreyansi achieved the feat in 25 minutes yesterday and it was her first all-India crown.
