Chandigarh win in Punjab Under-19 cricket

Chandigarh, June 1 (UNI) Chandigarh defeated Kapurthala by virtue of their first innings lead of 274 runs in the Punjab State Inter-District Under-19 Cricket Tournament for Dhruv Pandove Trophy at the DAV Senior Secondary School ground in Sector 8 here today.

The match ended in a tame draw.

At final draw of stumps, Chandigarh were 53 without loss in 16 overs in their second innings..

Amit and Shivam remained not out on 29 and 24 respectively.

Earlier, Kapurthala were all out for 134 in reply to Chandigarh's first innings total of 403 for 8 in 80.3 overs.
