Administrative shake-up in MP

Bhopal, June 1 (UNI) The Madhya Pradesh government today modified the charges held by more than two dozen IAS officers, including the commissioners of Indore and Ujjain divisions, official sources said.

Divisional Commissioner (Indore) Ashok Das was transferred as Principal Secretary (Urban Administration and Development) while Managing Director (Small-scale Industries Corporation) B P Singh would take up Mr Das' previous post.

Divisional Commissioner (Ujjain) Jaideep Govind was shifted as Commissioner (Tribal Development) and would be succeeded by MD (Cooperatives Marketing Federation and Cooperative Oilseed Growers' Federation) S K Vashisht.

PS (Tribal and SC Welfare) R N Bairwa was moved to Social Justice, Backward Classes and Minorities Welfare while PS (Labour and Parliamentary Affairs) Rakesh Bansal was transferred to Jails and Transport.

PS (Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, Sports and Youth Welfare) Ranjana Chaudhry was shifted to Forests, Sports and Youth Welfare while PS (Forests) Avani Vaish was moved to Commerce, Industry, Employment and Public Sector Undertakings.

PS (Technical Education and Training) Dileep Mehra was transferred to Labour and Parliamentary Affairs while PS (Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection) A N Asthana was shifted as Secretary (State Human Rights Commission) and PS (Transport, Jails, Backward Classes and Minorities Welfare) M K Rai was moved to Mr Asthana's previous post.

PS (Commerce, Industry, Employment and Public Sector Undertakings) O P Rawat was transferred to Tribal and SC Welfare while Commissioner (Tourism) and ex-officio PS (Tourism and Culture) Abha Asthana was shifted as PS (Religious Trusts and Endowments) and Commissioner (Tribal Development) Raghav Chandra was moved as PS (Technical Education and Training).

MD (Mineral Development Corporation) and ex-officio PS (Mineral Resources) Rakesh Agrawal was transferred to Fisheries and Animal Husbandry while Secretary (Urban Administration and Development) Sewaram would take up Mr Agrawal's previous post and Mr Deepak Khandekar, who has returned from central deputation, was made Commissioner (Industry) and MD (Small-scale Industies Corporation and Industry Corporation).

Director (Rajya Shiksha Kendra) M K Singh was shifted as Commissioner (Panchayat and Social Justice), Chief Minister's Secretary Iqbal Singh Bais was bestowed additional charge of Secretary (Aviation and Tourism) while Commissioner (Industry) M Gopal Reddy was moved as MD (Cooperatives Marketing Federation).

Member (Revenue Board) J T Ekka was transferred as MD (Warehousing Corporation), Chief Minister's Secretary S P S Parihar was given additional charge as Secretary (Horticulture and Food-Processing).

MD (Krishi Udyog Vikas Nigam) J N Kansotia was shifted as Secretary (Tribal and SC Welfare), Chief Minister's Secretary Anurag Jain was bestowed additional charge of Secretary (IT), Commissioner (Panchayat and Social Justice) V S Niranjan was moved as MD (Krishi Udyog Vikas Nigam) and Commissioner (Horticulture).

Additional Secretary K M Gautam was transferred as Secretary (Public Service Commission), Secretary (Industrial Centres Development Corporation) Ashish Shrivastav was shifted as Additional Secretary while Secretary (PSC) Madhu Khare was moved as Additional Commissioner (Ujjain).

MD (Cooperative Agricultural Marketing Board), Commissioner (Mandi) and MD (Warehousing Corporation) M A Khan was divested of the last charge. Registrar (Cooperatives) P K Parashar was given additional charge of MD (Cooperative Oilseed Growers' Federation).

UNI
