Youth shot dead by friends

Rohtak, May 31 (UNI) A youth was allegedly shot dead by his friends following a heated argument among them here late last night, police today said.

Deceased Vijayvir and his four friends were having some discussion at the residence of one of them in Bhagwan Colony under Rohtak civil lines late last night. There was a heated exchange of words between Vijayvir and others over some point.

One of the four opened fire on Vijayvir who sustained bullet injuries and died on the spot. The assailants fled the spot.

The police sent his body for post-mortem and registered a case of murder against the four accused in this connection.
