Three killed as lorry overturns

Nalgonda, Andhra Pradesh, May 31 (UNI) Three people were killed on the spot and four severely injured when a lorry, in which they were travelling, overturned near Teppalamadugu village in Peddavur mandal in the district today.

Police said the iron ore-laden lorry, proceeding to Jaggaiapet from Kurnool, overturned as the driver lost control over the vehicle.

The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital.

The driver managed to flee from the scene, police added.
