Three BSF personnel injured in Kashmir IED blast
Srinagar, May 31 (UNI) Three Border Security Force (BSF) personnel were injured when militants targeted their vehicle by detonating a Powerful Improvised Explosive Device (IED) at Sopore, about 55 km from here in north Kashmir.
Official sources said militants today triggered a powerful IED on the roadside at Chenkipora, Sopore in Baramulla district when a vehicle of 51 batallion BSF was passing the area.
They said three BSF personnel were injured and the vehicle was badly damaged in the blast.
The blast was so powerful that its sound was heard across the five km area.
The entire area has been cordoned off and a massive hunt has been launched to nab the militants behind the incident.
