Shekhawat meets Mamata
Kolkata, May 31(UNI) Vice-President Bhairon Singh Shekhawat met Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee here today, stoking speculations before the Presidential election.
Mr Shekhawat, who was in the city in connection with a couple of programmes, spent about an hour at her south Kolkata residence on his way back to the airport.
"He came here on a courtesy visit. I am grateful that an elderly leader like him came to meet me," Ms Banerjee said.

support
the
candidature
of
Mr
Shekhawat
in
Presidential
election,
Ms
Banerjee
said,
"I
must
not
say
he
is
unfit
to
be
a
candidate.
I
will
speak
out
on
other
aspects
when
he
becomes
a
