Sanjay Dutt to appear in TADA court tomorrow

Mumbai, May 31 (UNI) Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt will appear before the designated Terrorist and Disruptive Activities (prevention) Act court tomorrow, which is in the process of passing the quantum of sentences against the 100 convicts.

Forty-seven-year-old Dutt is a convict in the case under the Arms Act and has applied for probation. He and eight others, who are on bail, have been summoned tomorrow.

However, it is unlikely that his case will be taken up tomorrow.

Besides Dutt, his three friends -- Uusuf Nulwala, Kersi Adajenia and Russi Mulla -- too have applied for probation. The fate of their application is yet to be decided.

Yesterday, Judge P D Kode indicated that those convicted under TADA are not entitled for probation.

This week, officers from probation department also visited the court.
