Bihar: Rapist-murderer awarded death sentence

Darbhanga, May 31: A fast track court today awarded death sentence to one person in connection with a case of rape leading to murder.

Fast track court judge Rudra Pratap Singh found Md Mannan guilty of the crime committed in February 2004.

According to the charges, the convict had raped and murdered the niece of one Shravan Kumar Jha of Kathra village under Manigachhi police station.
