Monsoon in sight, govt. offices revert to old timings

Gulbarga, May 31 (UNI) With temperature easing and monsoon giving a hope, the working time of government offices in the districts of Hyderabad and Bombay-Karnataka region in North Karnataka would be reverted to 10 AM to 5.30 PM from tomorrow onwards.

Talking to UNI Deputy Director of Information department Basavaraj Para said that the working time of government offices was changed on April one to eight am to 1.30 pm in view of severe heat conditions in Bidar, Gulbarga, Raichur, Bellary, Koppal, Bijapur and Bagalkot.

As heat conditions came down considerably, the government had reverted the timing to old timings, he said.
