Man gets life sentence for raping a minor

Patna, May 31 (UNI) A sessions court today awarded life imprisonment to a man for raping a three-year-old girl.

Additional District and sessions judge of Patna S P N Singh found Sanjeet Kumar, a resident of Pabhera village under Dhanarua police station, guilty of raping the minor girl on May 20, 2001.

The judge awarded the maximum punishment declaring the offence to be a henious crime.
