Coimbatore, May 31 (UNI) A police team led by Nilgiris District Sub-Collector Samayamurthy and other officials surveyed former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa's and her close aide Sasikala's bungalow at Kodanadu estate near here today.

Meanwhile, about 241 AIADMK members including former Tamil Nadu Minister Miller, were arrested when they tried to prevent the officials from entering the estate, police said.

Though the officials could not survey the old building at the estate, they surveyed the new building.

It may be recalled that Kothagiri Panchayat President Raju had lodged a complaint with the Tamil Nadu government stating that Ms Jayalalithaa had constructed a building violating rules and regulations.

Based on the complaint, when the district administration tried to survey the building, they were prevented from entering the estate thrice by the AIADMK activists.
