ISI agent arrested, BSF, Army documents seized
New Delhi, May 31 (UNI) An ISI agent has been arrested from the Old Delhi Railway Station in North Delhi while delivering sensitive Defence documents to his 'associate' travelling on the Samjhauta Express.
Insaf Ali, alias Nirmal Jain, was caught by Special Cell sleuths yesterday from platform No 18 of the old Delhi Railway Station, following a tip-off, while delivering the documents in an envelope related to deployment of the Army and BSF in Rajasthan, police said today.
Hailing from Pali in Rajasthan, Ali acted as a conduit for extracting information, documents and details related to deployments and exercise operations in Bikaner, Jaisalmer and Jodhpur in the state.
During interrogation, Ali said he was 'baptised' into serving the ISI after his visit to Pakistan last year and was imparted training to procure detials of the Army.
