Husband gets RI for poisoning his wife

Patna, May 31 (UNI) A fast track court today awarded seven years rigorous imprisonment to four persons including the husband of a woman in a case of poisoning.

Fast track court judge Ram Pravesh Chaubey found Md. Israfil (husband) and his three relatives- Md.Fekan Miyan,Md. Ajmeri alias Nasim Miyan and Mrs.Raso Khatoon guilty for poisoning the victim Ajmeri Khatoon.

According to the charges, the victim was subjected to cruelty by her husband and other convicts.

The victim was given poison in her food by the convicts resulting to her death on September 10,1994.
