HC stays eviction orders on MLC's bungalow

Lucknow, May 31 (UNI) The Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court today stayed the eviction orders of a government accomodation against the Member of Legislative Council (MLC) and posted the next hearing on June 4.

A Bench, comprising Justices U K Dhawan and Ran Vijay Singh passed the order on a petition filed by MLC Daya Ram Prajapati.

The petitioner has alleged that the similar bungalow vacation orders were not given to Lalji Tandon, Pramod Tiwari, Amita Singh and Nawab Kazim, who were also MLAs.
