Govt offices revert to old timings with monsoon in sight
Gulbarga, May 31 (UNI) With temperature easing and monsoon giving a hope, the working time of Government offices in the districts of Hyderabad and Bombay-Karnataka region in North Karnataka would be reverted to 1000 hours to 1730 hours from tomorrow.
Talking to UNI here today, the Deputy Director of Information Department Basavaraj Para said the working time of the Government offices was changed on April 1 from 008 hours to 1330 hours, in view of the severe heat conditions in Bidar, Gulbarga, Raichur, Bellary, Koppal, Bijapur and Bagalkot.
As heat conditions came down considerably, the Government had reverted to the old timings, Mr Basavaraj said.
