Former Asst. labour commissioner gets jail in graft case
Patna, May 31 (UNI) A special vigilance court today handed down two years of imprisonment to a former assistant labour commissioner in a bribery case.
The special vigilance judge of Patna, Sunil Kumar Panwar also slapped a fine of Rs.2000 on Rameshwar Prasad who was found guilty under various sections of prevention of corruption act.
He was arrested by the vigilance sleuths while accepting a bribe of Rs 1000 from a managing director of a private company on October 18,1996.
