First batch of Kailash Mansarovar yatris given send-off

New Delhi, May 31 (UNI) The first batch of 34 pilgrims today left for the annual Kailash Mansarovar yatra.

Giving them a warm send off, Delhi Lt Governor Tejinder Khanna extended his good wishes and blessings to the pilgrims at a function in the Raj Niwas.

Also present on this occasion were Delhi Development Minister Raj Kumar Chauhan, Development Commissioner, Rakesh Behari, and Chairman, Tirth Yatra Vikas Samiti, Shiv Kumar Sharma.

Apart from financial help, the Tirth Yatra Vikas Samiti of the Delhi Government makes boarding and lodging arrangements of the pilgrims from all over India at the national capital.
