Fifteen sustain burn injuries as machine explodes

Surat, May 31 (UNI) At least 15 labourers sustained burn injuries when a machinery exploded due to high pressure at a dyeing unit in Pandesara GIDC here. yesterday night.

The machinery, which was working at full swing, suddenly exploded last night due to increase of pressure in it and 15 workers suffered burn injuries, Fire brigade sources said.

All the workers were admitted to 2 hospitals here. No casualty was reported.

The fire brigade team, who rushed to the spot, immediately extinguished the fire, sources added.
