Dwarka Pilgrim drowns in Gomti River

Jamnagar, May 31 (UNI) A 60-year-old Dwarka pilgrim drowned in the Gomti river last night, police said today.

According to police, the victim Dhanbha Chimanbhai Mistry drowned in the river when she went to fetch water after 2100 hrs.

She belongs to Bharuch district and had come to the city to have darshan. Her body will be handed to her family members, police added.
