Cummins India Q4 PAT up 21.4 pc

New Delhi, May 31 (UNI) Engine Manufacturer cummins India Ltd today saidit has posted 21.4 per cent rise in net profit for the quarter ended March 2007 at Rs 65.68 crore in comparison to Rs 54.10 crore during the same quarter last fiscal.

Its total income also rose 29.7 per cent to Rs 528.55 crore from Rs 407.38 crore during the same period.

For the year ended March 2007, the company's profit after tax stood at Rs 242.05 crore, up 37.7 per cent from Rs 175.70 crore for the year ended March 2006 while the total income increased from Rs 1,539.97 crore to Rs 1,926.12 crore.
