APSTRC to operate Volvo bus service to Kolkata

Visakhapatnam, May 31 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) Regional Manager N Venkeateswara Rao today said a new service from here to Kolkata would be operated with Garuda Volvo buses.

Informing this to UNI, he said two Garuda volvo buses were allotted to the Visakhapatnam region of the corporation and they would be operated on the new Visakhapatnam-Kolkata sector.

Stating that permit from the transport department would be obtained for plying the buses on the inter-state routes, Mr Rao said the services would commence in the first week of July.
