Altair unveils on-demand computing business model
Bangalore, May 31 (UNI) The city-based Altair Engineering today unveiled on-demand computing software environment business model, capable of tackling multi-core processor licensing challenges.
High Performance Computing AMD, Director David Rich, in a release here said ''Altair's new licensing model allows customers to immediately realize maximum value from their AMD multi-core processors and play a catalyst role in moving the industry towards greater adoption of innovative technologies like Grid-utility and on-demand computing.'' It has developed its innovative software licensing model that allows customers to share their entire infrastructure globally while paying for actual usage of software licences.
