A jawan and four civilians killed in Manipur

Imphal, May 31 (UNI) Four civilians and a Manipur Rifles' jawan were killed in separate incidents in Manipur today.

The jawan was killed in an ambush by suspected rebels at Purul, Imphal East.

In another incident two persons were found shot dead at Wangoi, Imphal West. And an unidentified body was found at Ishok, Imphal West.

Police said a middle aged man was shot dead at Moreh, Chandel district by unknown assailments.
