4 accused lawyers arrested, granted bail

Agra, May 31 (UNI) The four accused lawyers, who thrashed a dalit youth on Tuesday, were arrested and later granted bail by the court here today.

''Ravindra, along with some other lawyers, thrashed the youth boy on May 29, over a dispute between the two,'' Police Superintendent S S Bhagel told UNI here.

Following strong resentment among people over the incident, police today arrested three accused lawyers, identified as Pramod Kumar, Basant Sagar and Anand.

However, the main accused Ravindra surrendered himself.

The accused were presented before court, but later granted bail.
