Two Bogies of a goods train derail in Haryana
Kurukshetra, May 30 (UNI) Two bogies of a Ambala-bound goods train derailed today near Dheerpur railway station, 10 km from here.
Railway engineers rushed to the spot along with a relief crane and diverted the rail traffic on the down track.
A number of express trains including the Amritsar-bound Shatabdi were delayed by about half an hour due to the accident.
The Kurukshetra station master could not clarify the cause of the derailment but said railway experts were looking into the cause. However, there was no loss of life or property.
The Railway police has registered a case. The track was later cleared and normal traffic was resumed.
