Three chain snatchers nabbed

Jalandhar, May 30 (UNI) Police today arrested three chain snatchers and recovered two motorcycles, three mobile phones and Rs 3,000 in cash from their possession here.

Police said the three accused identified as Amit Kumar, Rajkumar and Jiwan Kumar, all residents of the city, were nabbed when they were moving in a suspicious manner near police check post at Kachahari Chowk.

During preliminary interrogation, the accused confessed to have committed at least ten chain snatchings in the city.

All the three have been booked under sections 379 and 411 of the IPC and further investigations are on, the police said.
