TDP condemns undemocratic policies of the Govt
Tirupati, May 29 (UNI) The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) President and Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu today condemned the undemocratic policies and misrule of the Congress government in the state.
Adressing a press conference after the three-day 'mahanadu' here, Mr Naidu said TDP's first agenda was to eradicate poverty and bring in alternative economic policy to achieve the goal, by involving the youth.
He said a detailed action plan would be made to strengthen the party in view of the forthcoming Assembly elections.
''We are not against reforms but the results are not reaching the common man'' said Mr Naidu adding that the percentage of youth getting jobs in America was increasing but the poor still remained poor.
After discussing the alternative reform methods with economists, political leaders and intellectuals, the party would conduct four conventions at district level for youth, farmers, women and back ward sections, and form committees to ensure effective distribution of wealth among the poor.
