State ministers to meet Gujjar leaders

Jaipur, May 30 (UNI) A four-member ministerial team, constituted by Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje to hold talks with Gujjar community leaders, is likely to meet this evening to deliberate on the community's demand for inclusion into the Scheduled Tribes category.

According to sources, Cabinet ministers talked to Gujjar leaders over phone after the state cabinet meeting chaired by Ms Raje and formed a four-member committee on each side to hold the talks.

Meanwhile, Gujjar leaders handed over 13 bodies, including the body of a policeman, of those killed in the violence yesterday to their relatives.

In the Cabinet meeting today, the Chief Minister took stock of the situation in the state.
