SP MP apprehends life threat

Siddharthnagar, May 30 (UNI) A Samajwadi Party MP has apprehended life threat, following withdrawal of 'Z' category security from him.

SP Parliamentarian from Khalilabad, Bhal Chandra Yadav, claimed he was facing life threat.

''Due to the threat to my life, I was provided 'Y' category security by the union Home Ministry last year, which was later upgraded to 'Z' grade,'' he told UNI.

However, the newly elected Mayawati led-BSP government had withdrawn the security cover from him.

The MP said he would also call upon the Prime Minister in this regard.
