Snapped wire disrupts rail traffic

Umaria (MP), May 30 (UNI) Through railway traffic on Katni-Bilaspur section was affected for few hours yesterday after the high voltage overhead electric line snapped and fell on a train at the railway station here.

There was no human casualty though the wire fell on Katni-Chirmiri shuttle, railway sources said.

Immediately after the shuttle started moving after getting green signal at platform number 1, the OHE wire snapped causing a blast.

As the electric supply was snapped, there was no casualty, but few trains were delayed, the sources added.
