Select cotton varieties up

Mumbai, May 30 (UNI) Select cotton varieties like S-6-A grade and Bunny/Brahma hiked by Rs 100 per candy due to reduced stock supply, traders at the Cotton Association said here today.

Following are the spot cotton rates per candy in Rupees: Bengal Desi: Rs 15,000, V-797: Rs 16,000, Karnataka Jayadhar: Rs 15,200, Y-1: Rs 17,500, Punjab J-34: Rs 17,500, NHH-44: Rs 18,600, LRA: Rs 17,700, H-4: Rs 18,100, S-6-A grade: Rs 18,600, Bunny/Brahma: Rs 19,300, MCU-5: Rs 22,100, DCH-32: Rs 32,000, 26-MM: Rs 18,100.
