SDA, Delhi beat HPS, Jhajjar by 137 runs
Patiala, May 30 (UNI) The Sumit Dogra Academy (SDA), Delhi, inflicted a humiliating 138-run defeat on HPS Jhajjar, Haryana, in the 9th Hot Weather Cricket Tournament (Under-13) today at the MES cricket ground here.
HPS won the toss and opted to field first. SDA piled up a huge total of 247 in just 32.3 overs and declared. Nakul Singh scored a scintillating half century (52) while Javin Singh was 37 not out. Ayush Rawat scored 34 and Abhinav Sharma hit a powerful 29.
For HPS, Rahul was the only bowler who troubled the SDA batsmen, capturing 2 for 37. HPS were all out for a low total of 109 in 20 overs. Rahul Malik was the only batsman who played with great confidence, scoring 43 runs.
For SDA, Ajay Malik, Nakul Singh and Ishan Sharma took two wickets each to demolish HPS.
UNI
