Safe rescue in Kanpur's mall fire

Kanpur, May 30 (UNI) Almost all the 50 people, who were stuck inside the six-storey City Centre Mall, which caught fire this evening here, were safely rescued.

The fire brigade personnel extinguished the flames that erupted on the fourth floor of the building, situated on the posh Mall Road here.

No loss of life was reported. However, the cause of the fire remained unknown, police said.

An investigation was on.
