Pilot demands dismissal of Rajasthan Govt

New Delhi, May 30 (UNI) As the agitation by the Gujjar community in Rajasthan spread to Haryana, Noida and Ghaziabad, Congress MP from Dausa Sachin Pilot today demanded that the State BJP Government resign immediately, owning moral responsibily for the police firing on the protesters that left at least 10 persons dead yesterday.

''Short of the Government going, there is no solution to the impasse with the agitation spreading to Haryana, Western Uttar Pradesh and outer parts of Delhi,'' Mr Pilot told reporters after his visit to Peepalikheda on the Jaipur-Agra Highway where, he said, bodies of six persons were still lying for more than 32 hours with no State representative turning up to pacify the angry community.

''If the Vasundhara Raje Government does not resign on its own, I will plead to the Centre to dismiss it and impose President's Rule there,'' Mr Pitot said.
