Rajasthan: CM appeals for peace and harmony
Jaipur, May 30: Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje has appealed to all sections of the society to maintain peace and harmony in the state.
Talking to the newspersons here tonight, Ms Raje has regretted that some elements with vested interest has attempted to disrupt peace and harmony in the sate, doing demonstration and "chakka jaam" for inclusion of Gujjar community into sheduled tribe category.
She said that her government would not allow anybody to disrupt the peace and voilate law and order.
CM also appealed to all to raise above the narrow political affiliations and work for strengthening peace and harmony.
Earlier, Ms Raje reviewed the situation in the wake of violence during protest by the people of Gujjar community at a hurriedly summoned Cabinet meeting at her residence late tonight.
