Migration of DD's DTH from NSS-6 to INSAT 4B, from June 1
Hyderabad, May 30 (UNI) Doordarshan's DTH-DD Direct plus, the world's first free-to-air direct-to-home television service available on NSS-6 satellite, would migrate to INSAT 4B at 93.5 degrees east from June 1.
According to a release here, Hyderabad Doordarshan Kendra Superintendent Engineer DSRBNH Baba said that as a result of the migration process, DD direct plus would be shut down on NSS-6 satellite between 2200 hrs tomorrow and 0600 hrs on June 1.
The DD Direct plus households should have to follow the procedures mentioned in the manual of set-top-box for shifting the services from one satellite to another.
In case of any problem, customers could contact the nearest cable operator, Doordarshan kendra or visit www.ddnews.gov.in, the release said.
