Lakshmi Machine Q4 net dips 16.7 pc

New Delhi, May 30 (UNI) Lakshmi Machine Works Ltd, maker of textile machinery, today said its net profit slipped 16.7 per cent at 68.62 crore during the quarter ended March 2007 as against Rs 82.34 crore a year earlier.

Its net sales during Jan-March'07, however, posted an increase of 39.12 per cent at Rs 549.18 crore as compared to Rs 394.75 crore during the same period last fiscal.

Total interim dividends of Rs 40 per share of Rs 10 each paid during the year has been treated as final dividend for the year 2006-07, Lakshmi Machine Works said in a communique to the BSE.
