Haseena complains of uneasiness during interrogation

Mumbai, May 30 (UNI) Haseena Parkar, sister of mafia fugitive Dawood Ibrahim Kaskar, today suffered from a bout of uneasiness while being questioned by Anti Extortion Cell (AEC) for the fourth day today for her alleged involvement in a Slum Rehabilitation Authority project dispute case at Wadala.

Few minutes after the AEC officials started questioning her, Haseena suffered a bout of vomitting and she requested the officers to allow her to go to a doctor for a check up. The officials asked her relatives to take her to the doctor.

Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner of Police Deven Bharati told reporters at a press conference that Haseena is not cooperating with the investigating agency.

She is replying all the questions negatively. We are trying our level best to bring out the truth, Mr Bharati said adding that the court has granted sufficient time to question her.

Haseena had been granted bail on May 25 by additional chief metropolitan magistrate V K Sharma who had directed her to attend the AEC office for 30 working days for four hours between 1200 hours to 1600 hours.

It may be recalled that Vinod Pranlal Avlani, a real estate developer and builder, in a complaint with the crime branch in December last year, had accused eight persons, including Haseena Parkar and Sandeep Shukla of cheating him of Rs 30 lakh after the failure of the SRA project.
