M'shtra: Greeshma Mahotsav at Saputara from June 1

Nashik, May 30: The annual tourism event of Gujarat government, "Greeshma Mahotsav" has been organised from June 1 to 3 at Saputara.

Additional Collector of Ahwa Dang district Ms Prafulla Jadeja told reporters here today that the festival will be held under the presidentship of Ahwa Dang district collector R M Jadhav and has been organised in collaboration with Gujarat Tourism Department and Saputara Hotel Oweners association.

Gujrat Tribal Development Minister Prabhatsinh Chauhan will inaugurate the festival.

An exhibition of tribal handicrafts will be held during the festival apart from a fire cracker show.

The last day of the festival will see various competitions like trekking at Sunrise Point, Cross country archery, volley ball competition among others.

Prizes will be distributed on the last day.
