Green Gold seized in Kashmir

Srinagar, May 30 (UNI) The Jammu and Kashmir Police today claimed to have seized a large quantity of Deodar (Green Gold) from Frestreshi area in Baramulla district and arrested one person in this regard.

Acting on specific information, police conducted raids on the houses of notorious timber smugglers Sona Sheikh, Aziz and Amma Hajam at Chak Frestreshi near Zandpal in Kunzar area and seized Deodar worth thousands of rupees.

Police later arrested Hajam's son and registered a case in this regard.
