Five year old girl raped and murdered

Bathinda, May 30 (UNI) A five year old girl was allegedly kidnapped, raped and murdered on the outskirts of Pitho village last night, police said today.

The victim's father who works as a labourer in a brick-kiln on Rampura Phul-Pitho link road, said his daughter was missing since last night. He had reported the matter at the Rampura Phul police station.

A farmer of Pitho village discovered a dead body at his farm this morning and he informed the police. The body was identified by the missing girl's father.

The police has registered a case under Sections 302, 376, 364 of the IPC. They are investigating the case, so far no arrest has been made.
