Court nod for FIR against Dabhoi PI

Vadodara, May 30 (UNI) A local court at Dabhoi in Vadodara district has ordered filing an FIR against Dabhoi Police Inspector (PI) S J Patel for assaulting an advocate and his client in Dec 2006 and placing them in lock-up.

An application was filed by advocate Jignesh M Kansara against the PI in the court of S J Brahmbhatt in January 2007.

In his order today the magistrate said, the PI was guilty of assault. He also ordered two more policemen to present themselves before him for helping the PI while he attacked the advocate and his client.
