Court frames charges against Bihar MLA

Nawada, May 30 (UNI) A local court has framed charges against Warsiligunj Independent MLA Pradeep Mahto in connection with breaking police barricade.

First class judicial magistrate Subhash Uraon framed the charges against Mr Mahto and one of his supporters Ranjeet Thakur under IPC 279, 336 and 353.

According to the charges, Mr Mahto and his supporter, while on way to Biharsharif on April 20, 2003, had crossed the police barricade near Mufassil police station.

Later an FIR was lodged against them.
