Congress gives clean chit to Koda in J'khand

Ranchi, May 30 (UNI) Congresss leader and co-incharge of organisation affairs in Jharkhand Hema Gamang today said the party would continue to support the Madhu Koda government here.

Talking to mediapersons Ms Gamang said the government was functioning well.

She said she was unaware about the anti-government remarks and demand of change in the leadership by her partymen here.

" If any such matter comes to our knowledge we would definately intimate the party high-command about it" Ms Gamang added.

Recently in a party rally at Simdega, Union Minister of State for Food Processing Subodhkant Sahay along with state leaders had questioned the working of the Koda government and demanded a change in the leadership.

Ms Gamang, who also visited Daltonganj assembly segment, said party was in a strong position and would gain the seat.

To a query she said the presence of Nationalist Congress Party would not create any adverse affect over the Congress candidate.
